Exchanges and returns

No worries! Frenky Lewis products come with a Dog Life Time Warranty. If a product does not function properly, we will replace it free of charge. See the warranty question below for more information.

Our refund and return policy? Did you place your order less than 30 days ago and would you like to exchange your dog leash for a different design? Then you are entitled to a free return label. Send an email with your order number to bark@frenkylewis.com and let us know which adjustable dog leash you would like to exchange your order for.

If you only wish to return your order for a refund, the return shipping costs are at your own expense. Send an email with your order number to bark@frenkylewis.com. We will email you a return label.

Please note: if you made your purchase in a store, we kindly ask you to return your item to that store.

A dog's lifetime warranty

Frenky Lewis dog leashes are made with the greatest care. At our sheltered workshop, great attention is paid to production, and every leash is inspected and tested. This allows us to offer you the best possible quality. We offer a 12-year warranty: a dog's lifetime.

The conditions: Damage caused by use and bite damage are excluded from the warranty. Damage caused by improper use, washing or natural wear and tear is excluded from the warranty. We will repair or replace the leash. Return and shipping costs are at your expense. This warranty applies to online orders through all marketplaces and our webshop.

Send an email with an explanation, a photo of the product/damage and your order number to bark@frenkylewis.com. Our customer service team will contact you within 48 hours to resolve the issue.

Within the Netherlands & Belgium, we ship with PostNL letterbox parcel + with Track & Trace. As soon as your parcel has been shipped, you will receive an email and can track your parcel. You will have your product at home within 3 days. We aim for a delivery time of 24 hours.

I have a Frenky Lewis dog leash. What now?

Our dog leashes are made of strong material, which makes them very durable. Because the leash is made up of 48 water-repellent strands, dirt hardly gets in between them.

If your leash does need a wash, wash it by hand at 30 degrees. Rinse the swivel eye clip thoroughly, let it dry and spray it with WD40.

The Hands Free Leash & Collar in 1 is the most versatile leash there is. With this versatile leash and collar in one, walking your dog has never been easier. Keep full control of your dog while enjoying your walk.

For your dog, the leash can be set up as a fixed collar / slip collar / half-slip collar / attachment to a separate collar. Move the knot and adjust it to the size of your dog's neck. If you want to use a slip or half-slip, you can take the ring out of the knot so it can slide along the rope. Of course, you can also attach the leash to your own collar or harness.

For you, it can be set up as a waist leash / shoulder leash / handle / attachment to a hip belt. The maximum length is 2.5 metres and the minimum is 1.5 metres.

The leash has been tested to a breaking strength of 250 kg. As long as you treat the leash and your dog properly, the two of you will stay connected.

Nothing can withstand the jaws of your Great Dane or Chihuahua. The Kangal (Turkish shepherd dog) has the strongest jaws of all dogs, with a bite force of 743 PSI (pounds per square inch). The bite force of a Chihuahua is considerably lower, between 120 and 180 PSI. That is still stronger than a human's: 100 PSI at most.
